Civica Systems, LLC wants this website to be usable by everyone.
Our commitment
We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we design and build the site, not a later addition.
What we have done
- Built pages with semantic HTML, clear headings, and landmarks so they work well with screen readers.
- Made every feature usable with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators and a "Skip to content" link.
- Chosen text and background colors that meet WCAG contrast requirements.
- Provided text alternatives for meaningful images. The interactive Civic Life diagram on the homepage is also presented as a plain list.
- Honored your device's reduced-motion setting by stopping animations.
- Kept all content available when JavaScript is turned off.
